Known for its peaceful atmosphere, Bel Air, Maryland is a great town and a safe place to retire. Our facility sits in an upscale neighborhood, across from the St. Margaret’s church and school. Conveniently located in Harford County, Maryland, we are just minutes off I-95, Rt. 1, and I-695 (the Baltimore Beltway). If you are coming from Towson, Pikesville, Columbia, Perry Hall, Cockeysville, or even Downtown, our facility is easily accessible from anywhere in Greater Baltimore.
We designed Bel Air Assisted Living with the elderly in mind. A licensed, Level III care facility, our privately owned and operated house features 16 elegant suites. Each has a spacious, individual room, and a private bath. Everyone lives on the first floor, so no stairs or elevators are necessary.
For residents who demand luxury treatment, small details matter. The building, including all doors and windows, is well-insulated; it is digitally temperature-controlled all year long. Every faucet has strong water pressure, with ample hot water for relaxing showers. Even the air supply is carefully filtered and monitored, ensuring no mold or contaminants are present. Finally, the entire building, and all private suites, are professionally cleaned by our hospitality staff.
The outside grounds are simply exquisite — something you must see in person to truly appreciate. We professionally maintain every square inch of the exterior. There are plenty of comfortable places to sit and enjoy our beautiful gardens and great views.
The lounges, dining room, kitchen, residential suites, bathrooms, and administrative offices were redesigned from the inside out; hallways were widened, walls were re-plastered, carpeting was replaced, windows were enlarged, new lighting was added, furniture was upgraded, and a most beautiful, unified decor now graces the common areas. Forced air furnaces, hot water boilers, and air conditioning refrigeration units were renovated or replaced. Additionally, all doorways were expanded for easier access, and the porches were extended to accommodate more seating. We successfully completed the renovations recently, ushering in a new, contemporary era. Residents, families, and our staff are excited to receive the new and improved Bel Air Assisted Living facility.
